We are seeking an experienced software development Project Manager/Product Owner with expertise in military simulation development. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigational bridge simulator customization for a specific navy program.
The main area of responsibility will be contracting requirements analysis and processing it to backlog items for the USA-based development team; managing timelines, milestones, stakeholders, and customer expectations; and communication with European-based product management and core product development team. This position requires a strong background in requirements analytics, and backlog management. A proven background in USA military programs in similar roles would be a big plus.
Responsibilities: Analysis of contract requirements Development backlog management Close collaboration with USA based development team Milestones and timelines management Customer expectations management Work with stockholders Synchronization of efforts with European based core team Reporting and informing to European-based product management. Qualifications: Strong analytic skills 5+ years of experience in software development project manager or product owner roles Excellent skills in prioritisation and timelines management Strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Agile philosophy understanding will be big plus Experience with simulator development will be big plus Previous maritime or/and Navy experience will be plus Prior experience supporting Navy or NAWCTSD programs is highly desirable.
