In this position, you will manageCanvas Catalog, an all-in-one learning solution that includes a customizable course catalog, course registration system, and payment gateway. You will closely collaborate with a team of developers, designers, product marketing, and the rest of our product team to develop an innovative, modern, learning marketplace that paves the way for the future of education.What you will be doing:Owning the vision, goals, and opportunity assessments for Canvas Catalog, influencing and collaborating with the Lifelong Learning product group to define and evolve our product strategyDriving teams towards outcomes based goals and delivering impact with an emphasis on progress and learning over perfectionDefining business cases and driving data-informed decision making to develop and grow Canvas Catalog globally, discovering and delivering solutions that set the new standard against which our competitors will be judgedDriving the discovery and prioritization of Canvas Catalog's roadmap to solve top customer needs and unlock the Lifelong Learning product strategyCollaborating with global teams of design, engineering, and product colleagues to deliver on Canvas Catalog's prioritiesBuilding trusting relationships with leadership, cross functional partners and customers (faculty, students and staff) at institutions and learning organizations we serve Communicating strong narratives about how our customers can use our solutions to accomplish their teaching and learning goalsLeveraging data and insights to collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales on go-to-market plans, product pricing, positioning and packagingEssentials:At least 3-5 years experience in Product Management A self-starter who can create a product vision and strategy with a proven record of delivering on plans and achieving outcomesStrong analytical skills with ability to build sound business models to justify investmentsDeep user empathy and experience building software products based on user needsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
