Develop, maintain, and improve the accuracy of all engineering documents for the Hialeah and Medley plants.
Perform all duties within collaborative, team environment to achieve the product cost, quality, and consumer requirements. Works cross-functionally with supporting departments to understand all internal and external customer requirements. Use engineering documentation to capture product details accurately and precisely. Create and update 3D/2D engineering prints documenting product, manufacturing, and industry specifications. Track, complete, and communicate assigned projects in appropriate defined order and within expected timeframes. Use data driven approach to determine root cause of issues, verifying resolution with statistically proven methodology. Construct samples for product testing and operate testing equipment using standardized test procedures and document results. Perform product testing supporting product changes verifying product design, specifications, and functionality requirements. Operate 3D prototyping equipment, manage machines and materials. Participates with key departments to discuss and understand product concepts for further definition and refinement. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Currently studying for an Engineering Degree (ME or EE), Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, Construction Management, or similar. CAD 3D/2D proficient – AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCad Ability to manage projects and work independently Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS Good verbal and written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Mathematical skills necessary to perform report queries, spreadsheet modeling, and statistical analysis
REASONING ABILITY Ability to establish priorities, plan, document and monitor project progress.
Must be able to assess complex situations and make appropriate decisions
