TJO is seeking an intern to join our Salt Lake City office for the summer. This role will provide students with real-life hands-on experience and mentoring in the orthopedic medical device industry. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute directly to implant and instrument development projects that will directly impact TJO's product offerings. While primarily working within Product Development, interns will also interact with other departments, including Quality, Regulatory, and Logistics to understand the entire process of creating a medical device. This internship will give students a glimpse into engineering, orthopedics, and medical devices to determine if this is an industry they would like to pursue further.
Requirements Must be competent with CAD modeling software and be familiar with SolidWorks Currently working towards a BS in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or another applicable technical field Students entering their last year of undergraduate are highly preferred Curiosity about orthopedics and medical devices Great critical thinking skills and the drive to solve problems in the medical device field Desire to continuously learn and improve your own skillset Benefits Interns will be compensated $21/hr throughout the duration of the internship.
