Product Design Engineer

Product Design Engineer Direct Hire Chattanooga, TN – Onsite $85,000-$100,000 Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Product Design Engineer for our client in Chattanooga, TN. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company that manufactures large construction equipment.
Responsibilities: Drive the Product Design and Development (PDD) process.
Contribute to product design meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Conduct design assessments for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain engineering documentation and uphold safety standards.
Assist peers and provide timely responses to design issues.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in product design and development.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with project management capabilities.
