Job Responsibilities: Provide support and assistance in the management and execution of product conformity and compliance processes for specifically assigned products, development projects, and/or product segments. Ensure that products being placed on the market meet all applicable regulatory requirements for that jurisdiction. Accomplish project goals and deliverables by coordinating cross-functional internal and external resources to drive activity. Assist in maintaining and managing the product compliance lifecycle; ensure that compliance databases, feature lists, and other repositories required to manage product compliance and conformity are kept current. This role works under general supervision reports to a Chief Engineer.
Execute product conformity/compliance processes (product homologation and deployment) - Execute product compliance process(s), coordinate and communicate requirements with cross functional resources within the company; Create plans and schedules to support product development and releases; Support creation of collateral materials required to homologate and place products on the market (packaging, manuals, inserts, labels, et al); Assist with development of testing schedules and provide logistical support to Company and external testing laboratories, ensuring that necessary test articles, materials, and equipment are available for scheduled tests. Product Compliance Life Cycle Support - Actively monitor regulatory activity, keeping the Chief Engineer, Sr. Compliance Manager, Program and Product managers, and the Product Compliance Director apprised of all developments that could potentially affect product homologation. Maintain compliance databases, feature lists, and other repositories and documentation to manage product compliance and conformity; Assist sales and marketing with development of business cases in support of compliance spending decisions which may include product re-certification or entry into additional markets. Collaborate with product developers on the ongoing configuration management of products, including updates and obsolescence issues. Administrative Support and Research - Assist with technical and regulatory research and preparation of Declarations of Conformity, reports, and other declarations and documents as required. Assist in creation and management of annual compliance budgets, product declarations, and homologation plans. Perform other duties as assigned. Onsite Work:  A reasonable commute is necessary since onsite work is required.
Visit YouTube to learn more about Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related (Non-degree considered if High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of compensating experience) Good written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to occasionally travel with overnight stays (0-5%) Ability to safely operate lift trucks Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related 2 or more years of experience in project management, product compliance and validation, or product development environment Work Authorization: Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Individuals with temporary visas are ineligible. Sponsorship for work authorization, now or in the future, is unavailable.
