Procurement Specialist Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to optimize sourcing that supports internal Facilities Management operations and capital projects that serves our external Clients. This would include supplier onboarding, contracting, COI administration, database management, client reporting, RFP events and other related initiatives. Responsibilities Job Description Meet client/account team cycle time for Procurement-Transition activities. Cycle times range from several days to several weeks. Manage large data sets for supplier onboarding activities Manage supplier relationships as related to onboarding, administration and operational issues Ensure contracting and procurement standards are established and maintained throughout the portfolio Support multiple stakeholders (Account Team, Transitions Team, client) with communication, coordination and implementation of onboarding initiatives and contract negotiations Support the Procurement team and Account Manager in achieving all Account KPIs, goals and objectives Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline and standardize procurement processes
Internal Cushman & Wakefield relationships- Participate with Global Transitions, Global Occupier Services (GOS) and Procurement teams to drive immediate and sustained benefits to the client and account Provide management with continuous status updates to support each Transition
Client and Supplier Relationships- Develop an understanding of and work within the parameters of the MSA, Client business/industry, Client Procurement Policy and Cushman & Wakefield standards Be extremely proactive and responsive in managing internal and external customer expectations Establish work priorities, assign deliverables and resolve issues to Client's. Transitions and Account team's satisfaction.
Compliance and Contracts- Ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with MSA and any proposed changes are formally reviewed Account Manager and approved by legal/risk management Coordinate with the Procurement Manager, Account Manager, Legal and Risk Management groups to maintain consistency in form, nature, scope, and execution of contracts within guidelines and appropriate business practices Qualifications College degree and/or 3+ years of related experience Knowledge of Supply Chain Best Practices and Supplier Performance Excellent Inter-personal skills, organization skills, strong analytical ability Proven ability to work independently Excellent communication skills – oral and written. Demonstrated ability to manage change Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS applications Microsoft Suite: Excel, Access, Power Point, Word Smartsheet, Tableau SQL
