Nuleaf Naturals Procurement Manager JOB SUMMARY:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for the sourcing and procurement of goods and services for the company. The position manages each part of the supply chain to ensure maximum cost-effectiveness and quality as well as consistent delivery of goods and services from suppliers while identifying possible obstacles that may affect productivity. They will spearhead the source to contract and purchasing processes, including such activities as market intelligence/surveillance, supplier qualification and selection, contract and price negotiation, ensuring stock optimization, as well as providing guidance on sourcing and procurement processes
JOB DUTIES:
Procurement of all goods and services necessary to facilitate the operation of multiple business units Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used within those business units Negotiating contracts and purchases to provide maximum economic benefit to the Company while maintaining quality and inventory requirements Establishing and maintaining a qualified supply base for critical materials and services Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting operations Assesses current material availability; reasonably predicts future availability based on the market, delivery systems, and other variables Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors Compiling and analyzing data to perform price analysis as well as reviewing proposals to establish price objectives Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems Ensures all procurement operations follow guidelines and SOPs set forth by cGMP standards QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration is desirable Experience in the CBD, Cannabis, and/or Nutraceuticals industries is considered an asset Ability to identify problems and develop strategies to grow the business 5-10 years of experience managing, sourcing, and procurement operations for multiple business units Strong leadership, negotiating, and management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience using supply chain management, and procurement software and tools Benefits of working as a Procurement Manager in Denver, CO:
