Position Summary The Procurement and Inventory Specialist is responsible for becoming the bridge between our vendors, the accounting group, and our project teams. This individual works closely with all levels within the organization to ensure successful purchasing, tracking and receiving of equipment, and maintaining accurate and organized records related to inventory management.
Primary Responsibilities Produce Purchase Orders and track FF&E items with vendors. Assist Project Managers with coordinating vendor pricing quotes. Coordinate with the Project Team to resolve issues related to product availability, product reselection, and changes. Develop and strengthen vendor relationships, and maintain key vendor partnerships. Analyze and negotiate bids with vendors to present the most advantageous pricing, quality, logistics and service. Develop procedures to effectively manage inventory. Assist in the creation and implementation of a company-wide inventory control system. Conduct inventory count and audit plans on a monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/yearly schedule, and prepare inventory reports. Job Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or 5+ years applicable experience preferred Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment  Strong written, oral, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven ability to handle shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. Experience with Microsoft Office products (high proficiency in Excel) Ability to travel to various locations through the company to inventory company assets. Familiarity with Acumatica is a plus.
