General Information Metal Process Technician Located in Vienna, OH Up to $21/hour based on previous experience. Rotating shift Duties/Responsibilities Receive verbal or written instructions from supervisor and/or other designated plant personnel. Check dimensions of material before, during, and after processing to maintain specified tolerances. Count and weigh pieces, weigh scrap, and keep segregated by grades. Stencil, stamp, and/or attach ID tags to material and packages as required. Color code various products. Verify and package orders to customer specification. Transport materials between workstations using side loaders, lift trucks, and floor operated overhead cranes. Keep production records and operate transmission equipment to enter, receive, and send data. Lubricate, clean, adjust, and make minor repairs to production equipment and related tools and equipment. Keep hand tools clean and orderly. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Assist with equipment and facility maintenance. Skills/Qualifications 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing. Previous experience with saws, grinders, milling machines, lathes, and other similar processing equipment. Previous experience with lift trucks, forklifts, and overhead crane. High School Diploma or GED, required. Meet requirements on basic math and measuring skills assessment. Will be subject to other pre-employment screening. Shift Info
