What We Offer $21 - $26 per hour, based on skill and experience, 1st shift$24 - $29 per hour, based on skill and experience, 3rd shift1st shift, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM3rd shift, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AMOvertime and weekends as requiredHealth benefits, including telehealth medical servicesOpportunity for advancementReferral programWhat We're Looking For High school diploma or GED2+ years of manufacturing experienceForklift certifiedStrong work ethic and organizational skillsGood communicatorAbility to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to give and receive instructions in a professional mannerAbility to lift 50+ poundsAbility to climb stars, kneel, bend, and crouchAbility to operate and troubleshoot all equipment in Plant 1, including pelletizer, etc.Knowledge of the mixing operation and the impact various components in the formula will have on the extrusion/film processAbility to operate all aspects of the mixing operationWorking knowledge of all enders in the plant, including ability to program the blendsKnowledge of the silos, their operation, and the material in themWhat You'll Do as a Process Technician Ensure all equipment is operating per the standards for each machineStart, changeover, and operate all the extrusion machines in Plant OneRead, comprehend, and follow all specifications in the job folderComplete all required paperwork (pallet slips, job folders, any special customer requirements, and/or any other forms as assigned by the shift supervisor)Use color/additive feedersInsert J-knife, tube slitter assemblies, slitter knives, and any other "accessory" related type cutting tools required for the jobSetup and take trimSet up print presses, maintain, and clean print pressesOperate any production line in P1 facility including accessory equipment such as Pelletizer or MunchyOperate lines, maintaining proper speeds, adjustments, etc., to ensure a quality product and production ratesPerform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of micrometers and record product and process parametersComplete all necessary paperwork as required, giving particular attention to product weights and scrapPackage product according to instructionsKeep extrusion lines, equipment, and surrounding areas clean and orderlyUse lifting equipment and fork trucks on a regular basisPerform other tasks as assigned
