Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans2 weeks of PTO available upon hire datePerfect attendance bonusOT availability - paid dailyProcess Technician Details: Direct Hire position$20.00 to $30.00 /hourSecond ShiftMachine Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment, ensuring they operate at peak efficiencyProcess Optimization: Continuously monitor and adjust the injection molding process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time) to achieve optimal product quality and production efficiency within the validated rangesQuality Control: Conduct regular inspections of molded products to ensure they meet quality standards. Notify Quality Control and implement corrective actions when defects are identifiedMaterial Handling: Manage material handling, including resin loading, mixing, and conveying, to ensure a consistent and uninterrupted production processTroubleshooting: Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions, processing issues, and quality problems, then implement timely and effective solutionsTooling Changes: Perform mold and secondary equipment changes in a timely manner to ensure production needs are metDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, process parameters, and maintenance activities. Complete Daily Check Sheets, production reports, and additional documentation as requiredSafety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleaguesTraining and Support: Train and support machine operators and other team members in best practices for injection molding processes and equipment operationContinuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product qualityProcess Technician Qualifications: Entry level opportunity: will consider candidates based on experience/backgroundMust have excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for mechanical skillsIndividual must be willing to work some overtime, work in a team environment, and good work ethicsApplicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
