In addition, the Company wholly-owns the Silvertip silver-zinc-lead development project in British Columbia and has interests in several precious metal exploration projects throughout North America.The Process Manager will report to the General Manager and is responsible for the overall management of mill, assay lab, water treatment, surface, and supply chain operations. This is a critical role that ensures maximum efficiency of gold production through communication, technology, and leadership while maintaining a strong emphasis on working safely. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday based in Juneau and working at our Kensington Mine Site 45 miles north of Juneau. A rotation schedule would be considered for a highly qualified candidate.Responsibilities:Strengthen the safety culture through reinforcing proactive safety behaviors, training programs and safety procedures.Coordinate workplace inspections to identify conditions or practices that have the potential for loss. Immediately correct substandard conditions and practices to minimize employee accidents and property and environmental damage.Lead by example to ensure a collaborative approach to safety.Maintain the highest levels of environmental stewardship and sustainable development through protection of the environment. Direct milling operations, tailings disposal, domestic water and process water treatment plant(s), surface operations, tailings disposal, warehouse and supply chain operations, and the assay laboratory.Develop and implement operating strategies that optimize cost and production.Work closely with the Technical Services Manager regarding but not limited to: development, preparation of short and long-term mine and LOM plans Work closely with the Maintenance Manager regarding but not limited to: fixed assets related to process with regards to availability and utilization, maintenance systems and strategy.Work closely with the Mine Manager regarding but not limited to: communication of ore deliveries to the portal bench, plan compliance, plan strategy and grade performance.Review and modify processes and procedures to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.Coordinate activities with Mine Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Administration and Geology Departments as needed for maximum efficiency of production.Direct the logistics and quality control of concentrates.Team with local finance team to develop operating budgets using XERAS budgeting software.Qualifications/Educational Requirements:Ability to work safe and promote safe behavior in others.B.S. degree in mineral processing, process metallurgy or related discipline preferred.Requires a minimum of 15 years of operational experience including 8 years of progressive leadership in milling and/or processing.Experience in flotation and mechanical gold concentration preferred.Understanding of general maintenance practices including the importance of planned maintenance preferred.Experience leading business improvement initiatives preferred.Possess strong communication, written, verbal and presentation skills.Ability to generate departmental budgets and set annual goals and strategies.Basic understanding of water treatment technologies preferred.Preference given to Alaskan residents.Go towww.coeur.com/careersto apply for this position.It is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the"Company") to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants foremployment.
