Coeur's headquarters are located in Chicago, IL.Responsibilities:Supervise and Mentor personnel in all areas of maintenance.Provide guidance with new employees around all aspects of their job and the camp setting.Organize and lead crew safety meetings. Establish maintenance priorities and interact with operations personnel to coordinate maintenance activities.Conduct follow-up inspections on maintenance work.Track and evaluate employee performance.Proactively assess and recommend modifications to increase safety, environmental, and health aspects of the maintenance shops and employee's duties.Maintain records for the maintenance department including, safety meetings, training, attendance, paid time off, scheduling, and incidents.Manage maintenance employee's room assignments and communicate with Billeting employee arrival and departure.Perform safety inspections of the maintenance shop and equipment.Actively support the maintenance department projects and initiatives.Work closely with Superintendents to create weekly work schedules.Provide consistency in the application of company policies, procedures, and training.Able to work a schedule with 15 days on & 13 days off at the remote mine site.Qualifications/Educational Requirements:Ability to work safely and promote safe behavior in others.Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices.Minimum of Five years experience working in mill or process maintenance.General knowledge of the mining process and the integration of the mining, milling, and maintenance functions.Candidates must have a demonstrated history of working safely, independently, and communicating effectively and professionally.Ability to accurately estimate employee hours and costs for maintenance work.Proficient with Microsoft office and a computerized maintenance management system(CMMS), preferably Oracle.Sets high standards for self and others, builds trust, and takes accountability.Preference given to Alaska residents.It is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the"Company") to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants foremployment.
