Process Engineering Location Columbus, MS : Process Engineer Come develop your skills and be part of Terberg Taylor Americas Group. This is a joint venture between the Royal Terberg Group from the Netherlands and The Taylor Group of Companies from Louisville, MS. The Terberg Taylor relationship is the result of two-family owned companies with very similar business models coming together to build the best Terminal Truck. We will build a network for sales, after-sales, and rental of the Terberg models which are used in ports, distribution centers, industry sites, waste & recycling, and airports.
What will you do? The Process Engineering plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the maintenance, tooling, and engineering departments, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization.
Collaborates with other managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams. Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Supervises tooling operations & repairs, ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards. Provides guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions, coordinates outside contractors and vendors. Assists maintenance and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department. Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and QHSE requirements. Prepares and implements the departmental budget. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Essential Functions/Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in industrial management, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required. What we offer you
