Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities The candidate will work with and do task for other engineers in the department. The person will help with engineering projects for the coating department Education & Experience 2 - 4 years of course work completed from an accredited university in an Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics-based field. Skills Strong organizational skills required. Statistics and data analysis ability will be needed. Programming experience a plus. Ability to learn to use unfamiliar equipment quickly and accurately. Inquisitive mind. Forward thinker. Team-oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good communication, both verbal and nonverbal. Working Conditions Office and clean room environment within manufacturing facility Must be able to work with acids, radioactive materials and other toxic chemicals Physical Requirements Not physically demanding position. Must be able to perform similar task as a coating operator Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
