How You Will Make an Impact: The Process Engineer I will be responsible for daily oversight of sand production. This requires excellent attention to detail, high communication with field counterparts, excellent analytical skills and a curiosity for automation and programming. This role is in-person and is a rotating 12 hour schedule.
Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day oversight of manufacturing operationsDocument and track equipment downtimeConsistent and meaningful communication with field personnelMonitor quality and inline process trends, document and escalate deviationsSupport field personnel by starting/stopping equipment, provide process data, and assist in troubleshootingProcess Improvement recommendationsPerform statistics, trend monitoring and analysis on processCollect and evaluate data to support business decisions in mining and process improvementConvert large data sets into streamlined, meaningful reports/charts for upper-management.Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production and quality reportsDaily monitoring and reporting of Wet and Dry plant process trendsPropose and implement capital expenditure projects from engineering through executionWork closely with Maintenance Department to ensure continuous and safe operationsAdhere to all Atlas Sand and MSHA standardsRecommend changes in standards and procedures to improve production and performanceQualifications: Bachelors Degree in: Automation, Electrical or electro-mechanical, or related degreeRecent experience (professional or academic) with Industrial SystemsSix Sigma Black or Green belt certificationAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic with a defined sense of urgencyGreat communication skillsOrganized self-starter that works well in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and retention of pertinent informationAbility to work a 12 hour schedule with monthly rotation of days and nightsWhat You'll Love About Us: Best People and Great Places to Work, Hire Vets ,Top Place to Work For – Austin American StatesmanYour Well-Being is a 100% covered Medical, Dental, and VisionInvest in Your 401K with company match, immediate vestingRelax and Paid time off and 10+ company paid holidays
