Position Summary: As a Printer Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our service operations and ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of a wide range of equipment, including Wide Format, IT, and Small Format devices. The successful candidate will lead a team of service technicians, driving excellence in customer service, technical expertise, and operational efficiency.
Location: Washington DC Metro Area– Mobile Field Position
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000/year
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of service technicians, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and continuously improving work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing training to enhance the team's technical skills. Oversee the efficient scheduling and dispatch of service technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Monitor key service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency. Collaborate closely with the sales and customer support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Address customer concerns promptly and proactively work to exceed expectations. Perform field service calls as needed to maintain hands-on experience. Conduct ride-alongs with field technicians to offer technical assistance and coaching. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in printing technologies to ensure the team's preparedness for diverse equipment. Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills. Strong technical background with expertise in Wide Format, IT, and Small Format equipment or related fields. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid Driver's License Ability to work independently and manage a mobile position efficiently. Other Qualifications:
10-15 years of hands-on experience as a service technician in a relevant field preferred. Prior experience as a service manager is preferred. Benefits:
