Course: Principles of Public Relations This course investigates the principles and theories of public relations. Students receive an overview of the function and practices of the growing public relations industry in both profit and nonprofit contexts. This course examines the relationships between the public relations practitioner and various groups including clients, consumers, employees, and media.
What You Will Do: Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring: *Teaching experience required
PhD in Communication (Preferred) ORPublic Relations (Preferred)

OR Master's in Communication ORPublic Relations

Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Master's in any field with 9 graduate credits in Public Relations
