The Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric software solutions and meet business objectives.
Requires familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices, service-oriented architecture, and product analytics.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develop technical product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business, architecture, UX, and other product managers. Guide product development by defining and communicating detailed software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure technical product viability, desirability, and alignment with business goals by establishing success criteria and monitoring product performance. Work closely with Architecture and Engineering on technical design and to identify and manage critical dependencies. Support trade-off discussions, negotiations, and alignment on feature prioritization, technical solutions, and timing with stakeholders. Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning and support feature refinement, addressing questions and providing guidance as needed. Act as a subject matter expert and acknowledged authority within the organization for assigned product(s) or product line(s). Writes features and sets the direction for a group of teams OR writes epics and sets the direction for multiple groups of teams. Experience: Requires 8+ years' experience in Technical Product Management. Our Principal Technical Product Managers earn between $158,200.00 - $237,400.00, USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
