Principal Duties and Responsibilities Translate user needs and design requirements into testable software units. Design, implement, document and maintain containerized microservices running on UNIX system Design secure application architecture utilizing knowledge of cyber security Design robust, cross-platform software applications running on a Linux platform . Bridge/ Integrate data from connected platforms and healthcare systems . Implement pre-built machine learning algorithms. Implement interactive visuals/UIs to summarize medical data. Consult with stakeholders on user needs and assist in translating those user needs to software and user interface requirements. Perform unit testing and consult on security testing activities. Augment our existing CI/CD and testing frameworks. Provide architectural direction, plan and decompose high level features Produce relevant technical and project documentation. Participate in code reviews, m entor members of the team on best practices for software design and implementation Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering , Biomedical Sciences or Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum of 10 years of related software development experience Experience working with Web based UI E xperience with programming for Linux and/or WSL development environments Experience designing and implementing applications for connected platforms Experience integrating data on electronic health systems (Experience with HL7, Mirth or similar ) Strong proficiency with back-end frameworks ( Elixir language preferred ) Strong proficiency with front-end/UI frameworks ( Angular / typescript preferred) Strong working knowledge and experience of various cyber security protocols and implementations (PKI, certification, encryption mechanisms, authentication etc ) Experience with deploying binaries/so f tware to edge/IoT devices E xperience working with various databases Strong organizational skills and s trong communicator who can work across disciplines and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders . Experience with FDA/EU regulations around medical device software (IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 820 , TIR45 etc ) Ability to showcase past projects Preferred Qualifications Experience with data analytics Experience of working with medical devices Experience with cloud services (Azure or AWS preferred) Experience with Agile Scrum methodology Candidates are encouraged to submit a portfolio/link to a Git repo with working demonstrations of their work, especially any UI/visually oriented work.
