Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with product managers and dev team to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write technical documentation
- Build features with mobile responsive designs
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of multiple front end languages and libraries (HMTL/CSS3, JavaScript, CoffeeScript, JQuery)
- Knowledge of Python and python-based web frameworks (Django, Flask)
- Knowledge of common webservers and containerized deployment methods (Apache, Nginx, Docker)
- Familiarity with databases and datastores (PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcache)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be proactive and self-motivated to complete tasks on schedule and properly document code
- Great attention to detail
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience building Django web applications
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and extensions (PostGIS, Trigram, etc...)
- Experience using CoffeeScript2
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 and experience building web applications to meet accessibility requirements
- Familiarity with OWASP and experience building web applications to meet modern security requirements
- Experience building containerized applications using Docker or similar methods.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, AWS, and Heroku
Compensation Range
$110,200.00 - $165,200.00
