Principal Design Verification Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Principal Design Verification Engineer to join a well-funded AI acceleration start-up aiming to revolutionize edge AI with their disruptive in-memory compute technology.
As the Principal Design Verification Engineer, you will architect verification infrastructure, create detailed test plans and lead testing and debug for complex Arm based SoCs.
Responsibilities:
Develop efficient block-level and top-level tests from product vision and specifications.
Apply advanced verification techniques to meet scaling and performance requirements.
Implement HW/SW co-simulation infrastructure.
Execute verification strategy to ensure prototypes meet system level requirements.
Requirements:
8+ years of industry experience in design verification.
Expertise in verifying AI accelerator or CPU chip designs.
Strong experience in block-level and full-chip verification and infrastructure development.
Proficient in SystemVerilog and scripting languages like Python, Perl.
Excellent knowledge of UVM.
In-depth understanding of Arm bus protocols (AXI, AMBA, APB, AHB)
The position will be hybrid-remote from their Bay Area office and package on offer is up to $250k base + bonus + stock options.
