Serve as a core faculty member for the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Family Medicine Residency Program.Teach residents how to care for patients with compassion, professionalism, and dedication to lifelong learning.Engage in activities to enhance residents' growth and development as independent practitioners.

Responsibilities
• Ensure that residents learn to provide high-quality care with the engagement of healthcare professionals, family members, and the community.• Be a role model of professionalism.• Conduct evaluations of residents with feedback.• Participate in clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs, peer reviews, and conferences.• Proctor didactic sessions and prepare lectures for residents.• Supervise and teach in the inpatient and ambulatory settings.• Participate in scholarly activities and faculty development.• Oversee the residency program's didactic curriculum.• Guide residents in working effectively with healthcare teams.• Serve as a mentor and advisor to residents.• Assist with the development and review of rotation goals and objectives.• Assist with the interview and selection of residents.• Participate in hospital committees and attend GME meetings.• Supervise physician's performance under the agreement.
Requirements
• Active membership in University of Maryland Capital Region Health Medical Staff.• Possession of an unrestricted Maryland state medical license.• Valid DEA certificate.
