Press Break Operator

Operate and oversee machinery used for precision shaping and processing of metal or plastic materials. Verify product specifications by measuring completed pieces with precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Inspect finished products for any imperfections, sorting defective pieces accordingly.
Adjust machine settings, change tooling, and fine-tune components for optimal production efficiency.
Monitor machine performance, record operational data, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Conduct tests and make necessary adjustments to machine speeds and actions as per product requirements.
Install, align, and secure tooling fixtures using precision instruments and hand tools.
Interpret work orders and production schedules to determine material specifications, cutting locations, and dimensional tolerances.
Secure workpieces using fixtures and measuring devices, ensuring precise positioning.
Load materials into machines and ensure proper setup before initiating operations.
Adjust machine settings as needed for specific production requirements.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and identify maintenance needs.
Label finished products with identifying information.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience operating machinery for shaping metal or plastic materials.
Knowledgeable about product conversion principles and practices.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
