The President will oversee all financial and operational aspects of a fully integrated real estate investment management firm specializing in the ownership and management of multifamily, office, and assisted living properties.
As President, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive business plans and strategies to acquire new properties, securing funding for acquisitions, and maintaining and enhancing the operational and financial performance of the company's portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the business operations across the Corporate, Residential, Office, and Assisted Living divisions of the company.
Manage a team of direct reports, including:
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) overseeing Accounting and Asset Management
Executive Vice President responsible for the Office and Assisted Living Divisions
Vice President of Residential Operations responsible for the Multifamily Division
Vice President, Head of Human Resources
Director of Marketing
Manager of Administration and Risk Management (handling litigation and insurance)
Collaborate with the Chairman and CFO to identify and evaluate new acquisition opportunities for the company.
Oversee the creation, review, and approval of annual budgets and asset management plans for each asset in the portfolio.
Plan and budget for all corporate expenses.
Direct Corporate Marketing's efforts to establish a strong brand identity for the client's Real Estate Management (REM) division and its assets.
Supervise and support the Office Division's leasing professionals in marketing, showing, and leasing vacant space.
Facilitate and support leasing efforts with prospective tenants and their leasing brokers, attorneys, and support staff in the Office Division.
Lead the Property Management team to ensure properties meet budgetary goals, monitor monthly performance, and communicate all variances to ownership and lenders.
Qualifications:
Experience as a President, Chief Operating Officer, or head of a large region responsible for property management of multi-tenant apartment and office properties.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Experience in Reg. D fundraising and documentation.
Proficiency in management software such as Yardi, MRI, OneSite, and ResMan.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with high-level proficiency in presentation, written, and verbal communication.
