Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Hospitality oversees various aspects of game day operations, rental event logistics, and employee recruitment/marketing efforts within the University of Kentucky Athletics Department. This role involves managing premium and non-premium events, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. 1. Manage Premium Game Day Operations: Attend and oversee all home football games in premium spaces. Work at least 80% of UK basketball games in club areas. Assist in set up, staff check-in, in-game operations, and clean-up. Coordinate staffing training and address game day needs. Maintain communication with catering team and custodial staff. 2. Co-Management of Memorial Coliseum Game Day Operations: Co-manage the Memorial Club during events. Stock necessary supplies and coordinate catering. Coordinate staff for events such as Volleyball, Gymnastics, and STUNT . Conduct staff training and ensure effective communication with catering and custodial teams. 3. Rental Event Logistics: Assist in event day logistics while adhering to university policies and regulations. Book, execute, and invoice for events across all facilities. Manage setup and tear-down initiatives and communicate with operations staff. Promote events on social media, book events in EMS , and assist with tours. 4. Non-Premium Rental Events: Manage setup and breakdown for external events. Communicate facility issues and provide solutions. Coordinate with catering and other departments as needed. Book events in EMS and execute invoicing for non-premium rental events. 5. Employee Recruitment & Marketing: Assist in recruiting potential employees and representing UK Athletics at recruitment events. Market event spaces to new clients, give tours, and attract new events. Contribute to social media posts and ideas. Support activities such as Freshman Orientations, bridal booth shows, and hospitality class tours. Must be able to comply with all SEC , University and NCAA rules and regulations. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: MS Windows, and Excel.

Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience preferred.
