Job DescriptionThe Chemistry Department at Virginia Tech is searching for a full-time Pre-Award Grants Coordinator for a position in Blacksburg, VA. The position duties include identification of funding opportunities, providing strong support and guidance to research faculty in response to funding opportunities, coordination of proposal development, including preparation of proposal budgets and other standard grant documentation, and assembly for submission of a high quality, complete, and compliant proposals. For the selected candidate to be most successful, they will have strong experience in and a commitment to professional customer service and team coordination, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
