Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time Practice Supervisor to join the Medical Office team in Naples, FL. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box. The Practice Supervisor is responsible for the success of team operations in collaboration with the Practice Manager through retention-focused hiring, effective implementation of office initiatives and goals, and managing specific duties of the practice such as optimization of Provider staff and patient schedules, implementation of best practices as it relates to standardization of workflows, working with the PM in achieving fiscal and budget goals, and ensuring that staff have the training, resources and support needed to ensure they reach their full potential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages daily operations of the practice(s) to ensure a smooth office workflow, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Manages staffing levels of the staff and Providers. Assists with front/back office duties when needed (within scope of practice). Plans monthly staff meeting agendas and leads/facilitates variety of topics. Assists Practice Manager with staff performance management including decision making related to merit increases, hiring, promoting, corrective action and termination decisions. Also in completion of annual performance review process. Ensures office staff in all locations adhere to MPG processes including, but not limited to AIDET and offering patient phone surveys. Assures that all associates provide a superior patient experience; leading by example. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has supervisory responsibilities under direction of the Practice Manager.
Required Knowledge and Experience Associates Degree Preferred, and/or Clinical Certification (LPN, CMA, RMA). Clinical Certification must be kept current to maintain the position. 3-5 years direct healthcare experience of similar scope is preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Communication : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to patients, staff, Providers and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. A thena knowledge preferred.
