Job Description:
Cummins is seeking a motivated and dynamic PR Associate to join our team in a remote work position based in Seattle, Washington. As an Entry Level PR Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of public relations strategies to enhance Cummins' brand image and reputation.
Responsibilities:- Assist in creating and implementing strategic communication plans to promote Cummins' products and services- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists- Write press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials- Monitor media coverage and report on industry trends- Assist in organizing and coordinating press events and media interviews- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for Cummins to enhance its public image- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing and communication initiatives- Maintain a strong understanding of Cummins' brand and messaging to ensure consistency across all communications channels
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field- 1 year of experience in public relations or corporate communications- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools- Strong analytical and presentation skills- Reliable and able to meet deadlines consistently
