Job Description:

Fannie Mae, a leading financial services corporation, is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to join our remote team based in Austin, Texas. As an Associate level professional with at least 3 years of experience in public relations, you will be responsible for managing and executing strategic communication initiatives to promote the company's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation- Manage media relations and cultivate relationships with key journalists and influencers- Write press releases, pitches, and other communication materials to promote company news and initiatives- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to stakeholders- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels- Assist in organizing and executing events, press conferences, and other PR activities- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations- Handle crisis communication and manage any PR risks that may arise

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously- Resilient and resourceful attitude towards challenges and setbacks- People management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software tools
