Job Description:
Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a dynamic and driven PR Associate to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic public relations campaigns to help promote and protect the company's brand and reputation. This part-time position is at an Associate level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and awareness.- Create press releases, media kits, and other written materials for distribution to the media.- Build relationships with key media contacts and secure press coverage for the company.- Monitor and analyze media coverage to assess the effectiveness of PR campaigns.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR efforts align with overall marketing goals.- Assist in crisis communications and reputation management efforts as needed.- Stay informed of industry trends and competitors' PR activities to identify new opportunities for the company.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Resilient and energetic personality traits.- Creativity and project management skills.- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing PR campaigns.- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital PR strategies.- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse team.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software tools.
