Pr Associate

Job Description:

FirstEnergy is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the public relations efforts of the company and helping to build and maintain a positive public image.

Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns- Draft press releases, articles, and other PR materials- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for management- Maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists- Coordinate PR events and press conferences- Assist in crisis communication efforts as needed- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field- 4 years of experience in PR or related field- Reliable and independent work ethic- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing- Experience with media relations and press outreach
