Location/Division Specific Information St. Louis, MO / Drug Substance Division - The Drug Substance Division is one of the five divisions that make up the Pharma Services Group. We specialize in both small and large molecule development and commercial drug substance services. This allows us to serve the needs of Small/Emerging, Mid-Sized, and Large Pharma sectors globally.
Discover Impactful Work:
Responsible for the development and implementation of PPI program at the site. Builds on the strengths of prior transformation efforts and leads efforts to determine new opportunities.
A day in the Life:
Monitors the progress of improvement efforts and facilitates integration of prior transformation initiatives and methodologies.
Measures and reports key aspects of PPI performance.
Works with closely with Finance to build operational budgets and calculate financial impacts of improvement initiatives.
Deploys opportunities to use PPI to enhance client satisfaction levels.
Identifies and prioritizes annual PPI opportunities in conjunction with the site leadership team.
Manage, coach and develop leaders to embrace PPI concepts and techniques.
Ensure PPI training systems are established to develop site leaders.
Keys to Success:
Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences or Business. Experience 2 years of related experience in BioPharma MFG
Lean/Six Sigma certification highly desirable but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP). Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to drive functional, technical and operational excellence.
Ability to inspire and foster innovation, collaboration, transparency and team effectiveness.
