Job Description Position Summary The Wylie lab studies host-microbiome interactions related to maternal and child health. We have NIH-funded projects for which we have generated large scale genomics data sets to study the virome, microbiome, and host inflammatory response. The primary focus of this position will be on data analysis and publication of results, although opportunities for complementary wet lab experiments are optional. A successful candidate will have strong aptitude for data analysis and written/oral communication, high motivation for creative analysis of large-scale human and microbial genomics data, and ability to work both independently and with a team.

Required Qualifications Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in genomics (human or microbial), microbiology/virology, or molecular biology.
Working Conditions This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range Base pay is commensurate with experience.
