Job summary
The Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment at Princeton University is seeking postdoctoral associates or more senior researchers.These individuals will conduct research on the impacts of climate change and resulting human responses.Applicants should be skilled in one of two areas of research: modeling of physical characteristics of extreme events or econometric and quantitative methods applied to assessment of human migration and responses to climate change.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research on the impacts of climate change and resulting human responses.• Model physical characteristics of extreme events or apply econometric and quantitative methods to assess human migration and responses to climate change.• Combine diverse methods and lines of evidence to assess the probability of climate change impacts and outcomes, especially with respect to compound or multi-risk events.• Improve public policy responses to climate change risks.• Collaborate with researchers in Princeton's Departments of Geosciences and Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the High Meadows Environmental Institute.• Report to Professor Michael Oppenheimer.
Requirements
• A PhD in a related field is required.• Skill in one of two areas of research: modeling of physical characteristics of extreme events or econometric and quantitative methods applied to assessment of human migration and responses to climate change.
