Job DescriptionThe School of Animal & Poultry Sciences at Virginia Tech is searching for a postdoctoral associate to provide clinical animal behavior services and assist in the development of a research line that would include but not be limited to the study of companion animal behavior, training, and welfare.The start date for this position is August 2024. Applicants must have completed their PhD by the starting date of the position.The postdoctoral associate in this position will be expected to provide behavior consultation and training services to owners and their pets; create novel research lines that explore companion animal problem behaviors and utilize technology to support intervention development, delivery, and data collection; and provide classroom and experiential learning opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students.
