A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately in the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Seattle, WA. The successful applicant will join the lab of Dr. Jarrod Dudakov to help drive the translation of therapies from the lab toward the clinic. Not a typical postdoc position, the perfect candidate for this position is someone with a strong interest in commercial translation with scope to transition to a permanent staff scientist position and/or to join our biotech partners.
Responsibilities Perform experiments using common cellular and molecular biology techniques and mouse models Oversee a larger subgroup in the lab working on clinical and commercial translation projects Qualifications A PhD degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or other closely related field Molecular biology experience, including experience in DNA/RNA isolation, molecular cloning, cell transduction, and qPCR Experience with immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and western blot Experience in animal studies The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual willing to work in a highly collaborative environment. The annual base salary range for this position is from $67,728 to $100,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
