Responsibilities
• Investigate and characterize multicomponent polymeric hydrogel systems• Develop novel polymer-small molecule hydrogel systems• Conduct independent and collaborative research• Apply scientific knowledge to develop material networks and performance• Work with a multidisciplinary team• Plan and design materials, equipment, and processes• Work in a cGMP-controlled lab environment
Requirements
• PhD degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, polymer science, or chemistry• Ability to conceptualize and implement proof-of-concept experiments• Experience with simulation tools and analytical problem-solving• Availability to work full-time for the post-doctoral period• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to lead multiple tasks• Ability to work independently and in a multi-functional project team• Strong oral and written communication skills
