Vice President, Policy, Procedure & Standards FrameworkMorgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries. The US Banks team seek a Vice President ("VP") to join the First Line of Defense Business Risk team. The candidate will support administration of the first line of defense business risk department.Responsibilities for this role will be:Oversee and managePolicies, Procedures & Standard(PPS) framework and oversight for the entire Bank organizations. Immediate core responsibilities will include:Establish structure and framework for PPS management and communicate across Business and Risk partners Work w BCUs to identify missing and expired documentsEngage in review of current business processes, identify PPS gaps and drive creation of missing PPS or updates to stale PPS:Manage and communicate "best practices" and guides for business partners which assist in creation of PPSProvide training to business partners on how to best develop effective and complete PPSActively assist business partners with documentation of processes and controlsReview completed PPS to ensure all components are complete and easily understoodTrack and monitor progress to completion of PPSDevelop PPS process to assist BCUs & pps owners with PPS health checkProvide regular reporting to senior management on progress of PPS developmentReinforce storage and reference capabilities for Policy Portal which allow easy access to documentationIdentify method to ensure compliance with PPS framework, inclusive of usage of Policy PortalParticipation in Policy Working Group (either as representative or delegate)Required Skills/Experiences:Minimum 6-10+ years of professional experience in financial services industry; preferably in risk management, finance, compliance, or audit.• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or10+ years Banking experience (Preferred)• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines and with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, efficiently and effectively.• Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative problem-solving abilities• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of clear and concise writing, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with upper management, colleagues and clients.• Strong project management and technical reporting skills i.e. dashboard creationMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
