Looking for a Plumbing Project Supervisor for a direct hire role
A Plumbing Project Supervisor (PS) uses their field knowledge and leadership skills in an office setting. The PS will oversee project planning, scheduling, forecasting, budgeting for new construction plumbing projects. A focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and overall company success is required. A candidate for this position must be willing to participate in continuing education, pass a pre-employment physical and be able to work full-time in all weather conditions.
Pay is $75,000-$90,000
Job Description/Duties: • Ensure safety policy compliance and document and implement corrective measures • Supervise foreman, determine method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedules • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure work correlates with drawings, specifications, and schedule • Coordinate and verify all layouts and installation of slabs, rough ins, finishes, and equipment • Manage material take-offs, create sketches from blueprints, review specifications, adjust/approve submittals and release material requisitions. • Inspect work in progress and completed work to insure conformance to specifications • Advise senior management of any possible work interferences or scheduling challenges and work to resolve them as appropriate • Serve as the final trade expert on matters elevated from the field • Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Licenses • Successful completion of a field evaluation • High school diploma or GED • Valid driver's license • Master/Journeyman License • Service Tech gas license • OSHA 10 • Strong team building and leadership skills • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) • Receptive to new ideas and questions • Efficient and organized
