Plumbing Designer

Plumbing Designer We are a seasoned engineering firm with over 33 years of experience providing MEP design solutions to contractors, architects, and engineers. We specialize in designing efficient and effective plumbing systems for a variety of building types, including multi-family mid and high-rise apartments, offices, schools, residential properties, institutions and restaurants. Our collaborative approach ensures that MEP plans are seamlessly integrated and ready for successful bidding.
The Opportunity: We're looking for a talented and experienced Plumbing Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll take the lead in designing innovative plumbing systems that meet the unique needs of our diverse client base. You'll play a key role in the creation of MEP plans, ensuring code compliance, functionality, and cost-effectiveness for our projects.
Responsibilities: Design and draft plumbing systems for various building types using Revit and AutoCAD software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop integrated MEP solutions.
Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
Analyze and calculate plumbing requirements, sizing, and layouts.
Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications for bidding and implementation.
Conduct site surveys and inspections as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in plumbing design.

Requirements: 5+ years of proven experience in MEP design, with a strong focus on plumbing systems.
Exceptional proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary range: $70K - $90K (commensurate with experience)
