Responsibilities
• Participate in all aspects of administration for Huntington's data platforms• Participate in the identification and resolution of production and platform issues• Participate in platform capacity planning, metrics, and tuning recommendations• Collaborate with storage, server, LDAP, database, and other IT administrators to support ongoing operations for meeting the business needs• Participate in the provisioning of tools and environments, including but not limited to metadata identities, users, groups, and roles• Participate in ensuring the platform is positioned for compliance with IT policies, standards, and agreed upon service levels• Participate in on call support as required• Participate in the debugging and resolution of issues found during testing• Work with technical teams interfacing with the platform• Create and maintain system documentation, manuals, policy documents, etc.
Requirements
• 1 year of programming experience with a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent transferable experience• Experience with application development• Experience with/basic knowledge of AWS or GCP Cloud• Experience with or knowledge of AIX, UNIX, and/or LINUX• Knowledge of or understanding of database design schemas and data modeling• Experience with DataStage or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)• Strong technical skills and a good understanding of software development principles• Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions• Excellent verbal and written communications• Technical writing capability
