Job Description: We are currently seeking a Plastic Surgeon with a focus on burn and reconstruction procedures to join our practice in Bakersfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact in the field of plastic surgery. Responsibilities:
* Lead the practice in providing burn and reconstruction procedures to patients in need of specialized care.
* Perform a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures, including burn reconstruction, skin grafting, and scar revision.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex reconstructive needs.
* Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures.
* Perform cosmetic procedures as needed, but the primary focus will be on burn and reconstruction cases.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in plastic surgery and burn care.
* Participate in continuing medical education activities and maintain licensure and certification.
Qualifications:
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in Plastic Surgery.
* Experience in burn and reconstruction procedures preferred.
* Valid California medical license and DEA registration.
* Strong surgical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
