The Plastic Injector is responsible for operating a plastic injection machine to produce parts.Responsible for ensuring quality of the pieces produced.Meeting department production needs.

Responsibilities
• Operating a plastic injection machine.• Ensuring quality of the produced pieces.• Meeting department production needs.• Showing the supervisor the first piece produced on each setup.• Setting parameters in the machines (cycle, temperature, pressure, weigh feeder).• Notifying Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. if setup or operation of machine is mechanically difficult or if other problems exist.• Visually inspecting parts for defects.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.• Ability to lift 40 pounds.• Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine.• General Manufacturing Experience.• Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a cell team.• Willingness to wear PPE (personal protection equipment).• Some physical activity required (walking, sitting, standing, lifting).
