Responsibilities
• Follow policies, processes, and act safely at all times• Audit work sites for compliance and recommend corrective actions• Provide technical assistance to control losses and develop policies• Manage incident investigations and complete necessary paperwork• Represent the company with regulatory officials• Assist in budget development for health and safety• Coordinate and conduct health and safety training• Maintain supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE)• Assist in emergency responses and incident investigations• Maintain safety information and coordinate workers compensation
Requirements
• Four-year college degree required• Minimum 3 years' experience in health and safety programs• Safety certifications CHST, COSS, OSHA 10/30 Hour a plus• Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations in the industry• Good organizational and interpersonal skills• Regular and predictable attendance• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
