POSITION TITLE Finance Administrative Associate (Two Rivers)
POSITION OVERVIEW This position is located at Milliken's Two Rivers Plant in Mayodan, NC. This role reports to the Plant Finance Leader manager. The Finance Administrative associate is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of payroll and financial reporting. This position ensures the proper input of payroll to confirm all associates are paid properly and on time. Associate is also responsible for researching issues with invoices & payables, entering purchase orders when needed, and other reporting for the facility. Associate shows great customer services to all associates' requests and/or issues are properly resolved.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Participates in Two Rivers Safety Program and follows all safety rules of the plant. Code, input, audit and track payroll time and audit attendance. Prepare weekly cost analysis and adhoc reports (including period reports) Conducts cycle counts and variance analysis Conduct analysis of expenses (including weekly energy tracking) Prepare requisitions and place orders with vendors Research and reconcile purchase order receipts with vendor invoices Support managing ledger accounts and expense coding Track material usage and waste Communicate with corporate accounting utilizing workflow system Prepare freight invoices and administrative pay requests Support administrative needs in the office Identify ways to improve relevant financial processes Additional responsibilities as directed by supervisor QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED Minimum 2-year Finance or Accounting work experience Good Math Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (strong skill set in Excel) & Outlook Preferred experience with SAP (emphasis on finance) The successful candidate will have strengths in the following Self-managed, motivated, strong written and oral communications Strives to be precise and accurate Works Collaboratory Has Initiative and self-motivation Ability to work collaboratively with all plant associates Assertive, confident, flexible, and reliable Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented Able to work in fast paced environment dealing with high-pressure situations Milliken is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical condition, including but not limited to lactation), sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), ancestry, national origin, citizenship, age physical or mental disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran or military status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
