gpac is working with a client company in New York who is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for their high speed bottling facility, located on the beautiful Hudson River!
Become an integral part of our client's team, supporting all process and packaging equipment while contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Investigate and correct equipment problems to ensure smooth operation.
* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace various electrical equipment, adhering to specifications.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain plant equipment using PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to achieve production goals.
* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and industry regulations.

Position Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program and/or a valid electrician license.
* Valid electrician license.
* Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems are a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
