Plant Electrician/Mechanic
Location: Milton, NY High Speed Bottling Plant - On-site
Salary Range: $25 - $31 per hour (eligible for overtime)
We are seeking a skilled Plant Electrician/Mechanic to join our team at our Milton, NY Plant. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques and electrical systems. Responsibilities:
* Support all process and packaging equipment.
* Investigate and correct equipment problems.
* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and replace motor starters, variable frequency drives, fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, push buttons, electric switches, and other electrical equipment following electrical specifications.
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
* Read electrical and electronic schematics basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
* Collaborate with other maintenance and production team members to achieve production goals.
* Handle assigned preventive maintenance work orders and project work relating to modification, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment, plus performance of general shop maintenance assignments.
* Adhere to safety guidelines, GMP practices, and regulations.
* Observe plant safety rules and procedures.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Proficient in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program and/or a valid electrician license.
* Valid electrician license.
* Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical work with low voltage control through 480v 3-phase power or related and transferable skills.
