What you’ll do

Material Planning and Coordination:
Plan and coordinate the timely availability of materials required for Scout Motors' assembly processes.
Collaborate with our procurement and supply chain teams to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of materials.

Technology Utilization:
Utilize Scout Motors' specialized warehouse management systems to track and manage material flow.
Explore and implement technology solutions tailored to enhance material handling efficiency within our automotive manufacturing environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and production teams at Scout Motors to address material-related challenges.
Communicate effectively to ensure all departments are aligned on material flow requirements for our vehicle production.

Data Analysis:
Analyze data related to material flow, inventory levels, and production schedules at Scout Motors.
Use data insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve material handling processes in the context of our automotive manufacturing.

Training and Development:
Provide training to assembly line workers at Scout Motors on proper material handling procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in material flow management relevant to the automotive sector.

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role may be based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company.

Bachelor's degree mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields.
5 years of experience in material flow management, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using specialized warehouse management systems and other relevant technology within the automotive sector.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000 - $100,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
